Philippine Herbal Plants

Philippine herbal plants have a long history of traditional use. Filipino healers pass down knowledge from generation to generation and selectively choose which medicines are most effective and kept alive. The following slides provide seven herbs that the Philippine Department of Health (DOH) have endorsed through its "Traditional Health Program." All these herbs have also been thoroughly tested and scientifically proven to have medicinal value in treating the ailments they're purported to help heal.
