You are correct; caffeine is also found in OTC pain killers as well as many other products. Those wanting to avoid caffeine should read labels carefully.

I was encouraged by all the information I found here referencing the content in green tea. Just be sure to keep in mind all of the other foods and drugs that it is in. There are virtually no pain killers, even OTC it is not in. Be vigalante.

Hi Brant, you're smart to check the caffeine content in a decaffeinated beverage - just because the label says decaf doesn't mean it's entirely free from caffeine. Each brand will be slightly different, but on average the amount is negligible, usually under 10 mg. Check the label.

Do you have an amount for the caffeine content in decaff green tea? I've visited a few sites and knowone sems to display that number.
