Hi Mariam,

It is possible that your body is just adjusting to the herb and your periods will go back to normal. However, I would suggest mentioning this to your herbalist. Even natural products can have side effects, especially if it is something you are sensitive to. This may be what's happening in your case so you should investigate a bit further to be safe.

Thank you for this info. I'm just concerned about the vitex you mention. I was recommended this by my herbalist - I took it as prescribed but found it delayed my period for 34 days which scared me a bit. I'm not sure if I should go back to taking it or not. Would love to have some advice on this. I'm really down about my cysts and cant bear the thought of surgery.
